Terms of use
MyKaraoke is a social karaoke service: you sing, record your cover and share it. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
- MyKaraoke lets you sing over instrumentals with synced lyrics, get a score, record your voice and video, publish them, follow other members, comment, exchange messages and join live rooms.
- The service is free. It may evolve, and some features may change or be removed.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You provide an accurate email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
- One account per person: no impersonation.
What you publish
- Your recordings, captions and comments remain yours.
- By publishing them, you grant us a free, worldwide permission to host, display and distribute them within MyKaraoke, and to feature them on MyKaraoke's official accounts (for example YouTube, Instagram or TikTok) to promote the service. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already published on those accounts, which you can ask us to remove.
- Only publish what you have the right to publish, and nothing that infringes another person's privacy or image.
Community rules
- Not allowed: hate and harassment, sexual content, violence or incitement to violence, spam and scams, impersonation, and any illegal content.
- Anyone can report content or block a member from the app. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Music and copyright
- Songs, lyrics and recordings belong to their authors, composers, publishers and producers. They are provided for singing within MyKaraoke, for personal use; you do not download them for any other use.
- A rights holder who wants a work removed can use the “Report” button with the “Copyright infringement” reason, or email us: the request is handled promptly.
Liability
- The service is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running, without guaranteeing that it is always available or error-free.
- To the extent permitted by law, MyKaraoke is not responsible for content published by members.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time, from the app or by following the “delete your account” page.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Governing law and contact
- These terms are governed by French law, without depriving a consumer of the protections of the law of their country.
- If they change significantly, we will let you know in the app.
- Any question: contact@mykaraoke.me.
